The 2025 Pebble Beach AT&T
If you needed convincing that putting was absolutely front and centre of the game then this was a great tournament to watch. Rory McIlroy entered the final round one stroke back before rolling in five birdies and an eagle on his way to a two-stroke victory and the first of his career at famed Pebble Beach Golf Links. His 26-foot eagle putt on the 14th hole, using a SuperStroke Zenergy Pistol Tour putter grip, gave him a four-shot lead that all but sealed the win. Going back to his second round, things were not going perhaps as well as he liked but he came off the course having sunk a 25 ft Eagle putt at 18. It was very apparent to see the mental boost that this gave him going into the week end!
McIlroy putted consistently all week, racking up 20 birdies and three eagles and averaging 1.63 putts per green in regulation. He rolled in 86 feet of putts over four rounds.
